The stamps depict battle scenes from the Bayeux Tapestry.

Note: Purchasers get exactly what is shown in the main photo - the six 4d stamps both separately and as a se-tenant strip of six, plus the 6d and 1/3 stamps!

N.b. the strip of six 4d stamps is folded once vertically in the middle to enable the set to be sent in a standard-sized letter.
