In this beautiful figurine Hecate is depicted holding a lit torch, flanked by her two dogs. In Greek mythos Hecate assisted Demeter in her search for Persephone, guiding her through the night with flaming torches.

Dogs were commonly used in sacrificial rituals to invoke the goddess, however Hecate's dogs were theorised to be shades or demons.

Cast in solid resin and finished in bronze with subtle earthy colours to bring the details to life.
