We don’t really know what this is .

If you can help identify it , please let us know what it is .

We have titled it as a

RARE Funnel for Wine Testing or Apothecary instrument by TECHNICO Reg No 828162 c1932 exact use u/k. This is the larger of the 2 we are offering .

It appears to be a form of funnel , it is very well engineered with a pouring chamber at the top ( but no spout ) , a hexagonal shaped bolt that spins up and down on the central threaded section ( unknown what this does ) . An early solid rubber stopper that clearly goes into the top of a glass bottle or receptacle , the funnel tube passes though the centre of this .

The lack of a spout suggests you would pour liquid into the receptacle to fill the container , rather than to pour it out to empty the receptacle it fits into.

This is stamped “ TECHNICO “ REG. NO. 828162 .

The entire piece measures 8 inches in length and is 3 inches wide at its widest point .

If you can identify what this is , please let us know .

This is in good vintage condition , everything appears to be present and working , some wear and deterioration to the Rubber stopper .

Thankyou and Good Luck .

We are offering a different sized but similar item in a separate listing )
