Walt Disney Studio Archives Cafeteria Menu Donald Duck Fireman Prints 2003 1940

Classic Walt Disney Studio Treasures from Saturday's Toys presents...    a unique lot of SEVEN facsimile items (reissued in 2003) from the historic Walt Disney Studio / Walt Disney Archives.

Includes two early studio cafeteria menus; both affordable authorized facsimile reproductions of the originals.  The first menu is from Monday, January 8, 1940 (6" x 8.75"; folded at center)... and the other menu is from the "new" Walt Disney Studio cafeteria, dated one day after the studio's official date of completion (May 6); as issued on May 7, 1940 (4" x 8").

In addition, the facsimile lot includes five drawings:

  • 2 facsimile drawings; from an animated short cartoon starring Donald Duck featuring his nephews Huey, Dewie and Louie.
  • 3 facsimile drawings; featuring Pluto in "Mickey's Parrot" (1938) as he meets his match:  a goldfish

Each facsimile drawing is 4.75" x 6.75"

These authorized facsimile reproductions were created exclusively by Disney in 2003 and are unlikely to be officially reproduced any time soon.

All items suitable for framing.

Saturday’s Toys and Collectibles was founded in 1994 by Southern California author and media historian, Dave Mason. Soon after eBay's launch the following year, Saturday's Toys was among the first online specialists to strategize in embracing this rapidly developing technology. Having delivered over 15,000 coveted treasures since that time, Saturday's Toys is pleased to partner with researchers and collectors throughout the globe.

Today, online offerings of archival keepsakes are presented in celebration of the times that allow for family, friends and neighbors to join in memorable gatherings that nurture the strong connections that bind a community together. These treasures are affectionately represented by "Saturday's Toys." In that light we present our adopted motto (with a nod to the Sherman Brothers): "Oh, let's go fly a kite!"
