These corner caps that allow the roof to be stored in the trunk were a design flaw by GM.  Many break and fall out after placing and removing the roof in the rear storage compartment.  The weak inner tabs which hold these caps in the roof frame were not designed for the jarring motions that a 25lb roof presents during storage and travel.  Once these tabs fatigue and break they fall out of the frame rendering storage in the rear of the car impossible.

These new and improved caps glue into place using a durable flexible adhesive providing the extra support needed to last the life of the vehicle.

Instructions for installation-

  1. Using a screwdriver simply pop out old caps if they are still in place.
  2. Apply glue to edge of cap and pocket in frame where cap inserts.
  3. Press caps into place
  4. Let glue cure overnight
