Here for sale is a neat early 19th century treenware long handled shovel scoop. All hand carved out of one piece of wood, which could be poplar . You can actually see the chisel marks on the backside of the scoop. Nice long handle with a hooked -over end to allow it to hang or rest on the edge of a bowl or other object. The front scoop end is shaped like a shovel, making this a very useful object. It measures 16 1/4 inches long by 3 1/2 inches across the scoop front. Great condition, really unique!
