This is a superb & desirable Wedgwood Wedgwood plate with reticulated rim, colorful & cobalt banner and Email-Ombarnt center of 4 dogs fighting a wolf. This plate is in excellent condition as I did not find any crack or hairline, but has a small restored chip to its footring. Marked on base is Wedgwood/AWZ(made in April 1871 or 1897). An excellent Wedgwood majolica to collect. Like most antique majolica, it has some crazing. Please disregard the lighting glares. Thanks and good luck. Our Ref: 2284
