John Deere Models "L" and "LA" General Purpose Tractors

This is the cover of a 1941 "L" and "LA" sales folder. John Deere developed a wide variety of
implements for these two small tractors: ploughs, breaker bedders, planters with fertilizer attachments, vegetable planters, cultivators, sicklebar mowers and side-delivery rakes - all integrally mounted.

Pull-type equipment sized for the horsepower of these two tractors included: moldboard and disk ploughs, disk tillers, disk, spike-tooth and spring-tooth harrows, packers, rollers, rotary hoes, corn
planters, transplanters, grain drills, mowers, rakes, manure spreaders, hay loaders, potato diggers and farm wagons.

The "L" and "LA" also had belt pulley power to run corn shellers, feed mills, grain elevators, cement mixers, wood saws and small hay presses. All in all a jolly useful machine !!
