Very Unique Vintage Packable Rucksack in Beige

Description:

A unique and unusual piece of luggage here. This is an incredibly lightweight rucksack that can pack into itself. Comes in a bucket style, with a lid that you fasten closed by threading the drawstrings throught the loop and tieing them. No labels on this apart from a 'Made in Korea' one. So hard to ascertain origins. Feels like its made from a polyamid fabric. The rucksack is completely unlined too, so could only be worn on a sunny day. The design is reminiscent of old American hiking gear from the 70s and 80s, similar to the type of thing a brand like Battenwear would make today. Could be a good piece for a designer to reproduce and rework perhaps...

Condition:

Few faint marks here and there and what looks like a tiny knick in the fabric towards the bottom. Everything functions right but not so sure how much use you would really get out of this as is. Would be good for a vintage archivist in my opinion.
