You are bidding on an Eterna-Matic Pilots Chronograph watch that was purchased new by our watchmaker.  It looks like it has been worn very gently by a guy who was very fussy about his watches.  Obvious signs of very gentle wear exist, so if you will be wearing this daily, everyone will think you bought a new watch.

The luminous in the original dial still glows (see our picture)

The sapphire crystal is perfect

The hands are all original with the EXCEPTION of the chronograph register hands - hours, minutes, and seconds, which are a shade of safety green.  They are easy to tell from the other hands and super visible to the wearer.  Again, this is a fine looking museum piece.

The bi-directional rotating bezel is in great condition

The screw down crown is original to the watch (never been changed) and is in excellent condition.

The ETA 7750 is a very modern movement design and has become the workhorse for chronographs.  It is even a base movement for several Swiss luxury brands which they mark with their own caliber numbers and decoration. 

 The movement in this watch is clean and was serviced by our master watchmaker. 

 It winds automatically when worn and winds smoothly manually in case you leave it longer than 72 hours without wearing it.  

This watch  is running strong, and the chronograph starts, stops, and returns to zero better than any 7750 equipped watch that we have handled.

The chronograph sweep seconds hand begins to move the minute recorder at exactly 58 seconds and completes its jump to the next minute at 60 seconds just like it should.

Worn for the last ten days, it keeps excellent time.  We have timed it for precision and accuracy and it is meeting and exceeding ETA specs.

The case has no damage.  The back of the case screws in (see pictures)

The watch has never had moisture inside

The watch comes on its original bracelet (band) with signed clasp and will fit a larger wrist.  Also included is the signed black leather strap by Eterna-matic with signed buckle

The watch measures 40mm excluding the crown

It comes with the original inner and outer boxes and all papers
