Vintage Ideal P300 Baby Doll. It has a composite head, a cloth body and vinyl limbs. Most likely from the late 1940s. Signed Ideal Doll P300 Made in USA on the back of the neck. This cutie is in good vintage condition, but time and love have left some scars. It has glue residue on the top of the head where there once was a wig. The sleep eyes don’t work anymore. The face, while still lovely, has a few scratches and there is a chip on the nose. The cloth body is relatively clean, but does have age appropriate discolorations. There are some repairs on chest, back and neck. The vinyl arms and legs would benefit from a cleaning. The most damage is concentrated on hands and feet. The fingers of the right hand are missing, while the remaining fingers and toes are damaged. The doll comes dressed in a lovely baby’s christening gown, with matching bonnet and crochet booties.
