These items for sale are `Fully Reconditioned` early pattern Ex- Royal Air Force (10A/19043) Oxygen Mask Microphones which were fitted to the A-13A/2, M-Type and the early pattern H-Type and early issue *P/Q Type Oxygen Masks. These vintage microphones date from the late 1950`s - early 1960`s and are fitted with a cord covered `Shielded` com cable which terminates with a twin pin 10/H 14207 connector. These microphones have been disassembled, cleaned and polished prior to sale and are `Bench Tested and Working`. These sturdy microphones are in excellent condition with a strong switch action and when tested were` Loud & Clear` which is not bad considering these are 60 years old!! These items were purchased by us many years ago and now would be very difficult to source particularly in this showpiece condition and would add a quality finishing touch to any Oxygen Mask. ... Simply `The Best`.
*These microphones will only fit the early issue P/Q Type oxygen masks which have the small rubber microphone extension as shown in photo 11 and not the later issue P/Q mask rubbers which have a smaller microphone fitting.
Please note that the microphone is priced to reflect the amount of time taken on the thorough in-depth servicing and restoration (see photos).
