Monster multi-track recorder: 6 channels, DBX noise reduction and a feature-packed mixer.

Vestax’ answer to the Portastudio? OK, maybe not so “porta”, but in a rack this is a superb work station for recording onto cassette.

Serviced and all working well, apart from one glitch in that the return to zero function does not work. In the absence of any kind of service manual for these we are not going to attempt to trace this! Everything else functions as it should.

Note that the tape transport buttons on these can get a little glitchy – we’ve been over them and they are working well but you may find that they lose some responsiveness, usually if the unit has been left unused. This should clear again with use.

The mixer has a slew of sends and returns amongst the sockets across the bottom – these allow for all sorts of possibilities when recording on this.

Condition: Excellent. A few small marks and other signs of age. Please see photos or get in touch if you require more information on condition.

Voltage Information: 100v Japanese model. For customers on 220/240v supplies we will supply a high quality step-down transformer free of charge with your purchase - let us know if this is not required. On North American mains (115/120v supplies) this unit will run without a transformer (we run all our tests using 120v power); however, a step-down transformer is recommended for extended use. We do not recommend using cheap, generic Chinese mains transformers - please ask if you have any questions about powering this unit.

PRICE INCLUDES 20% VAT FOR UK ONLY - BUYERS OUTSIDE THE UK PLEASE USE BEST OFFER TO BUY AT TAX-FREE PRICE OF £ 750. Please note that this is separate to any VAT or import charges you may be charged - please contact your local tax authorities if you need more information about possible charges.
