There are a few broken pieces such as the corner of the cassette door and the corner of one of the speakers. Due to the design of this item, the chip of the speaker shell can be put in as position where it is hidden on the bottom. (One of the photos toward the end shows this

One of the speakers also sounds like it has a broken piece of *something* rattling around inside of it although I don't see anything obviously broken on the outside.

Functionally it seemed to be mostly working but with some issues worth noting.

Firstly, I only tested this with it plugged into the wall using the included power cord. I did NOT test using battery power.

I could play both AM and FM radio. I was able to play a cassette tape for a while but I guess I left it running and switched over to the FM radio, which I listened to for quite a while and, when I noticed that the post button was still depressed, I opened the cassette door and found that the cassette had de-spooled.

The antenna is intact, complete, and extends fully as it should but does not stay upright on its own.

Both speakers were able to play music at an appropriate volume but I think there are some loose connections (either in the speakers or the jacks or both).

I think that covers most of the major functions but, if it isn't mentioned above, then I probably didn't test it.
