Salvatore Marchesi (Italian: Salvatore Marchesi, real name de Castrone, Italian: de Castrone; 1822-1908) - Italian opera singer (baritone) and music teacher.

Marchesi belonged to an aristocratic family in Sicily, brother of the lawyer Joseph Merin, because of his liberal ideas he left his military career in the army and began to study music and singing, first in Palermo, with the composer Pietro Raimondi.
