This listing is for an original idler bracket correct for all 1968-70 Ford & Mercury 390/428 FE V8 engines with factory air-conditioning. 

It can also be used on 1967 390/428 engines, but a 1968-70 style idler/tensioner will need to be used.  We sell a replacement idler in our eBay store.

This is the bracket that mounts to the toward the left-hand side of the engine, connecting to the top of the factory a/c square style York or Tecumseh compressor.  The adjustable belt-tension idler mounts to it.

It has been bead-blasted & painted.  Very clean with only some minor pitting typical of a part of this age.  Ready to install & use.
