James Kottak joined the Scorpions in 1996 as a drummer and left the group in 2015. Currently, he plays for his own band Kottak. While with the Scorpions, he was part of several albums and appeared center stage during many of their tours. This item comes direct from Kottack while on tour and is ready to Rock You Like A Hurricane!
Presented is one of James Kottak’s used DW drum kits. This five piece set was used on stage and originates directly from him. This was used on several tours but specifically on the 2015-2016 Tour. This is so rare to actaully have the opportunity to get a photo matched TOUR Drum set driectly from the musician!
It’s a special set that showcases a cool white pearl style design. Both base drums have the Scorpions logo ever present along with his name JAMES KOTTAK on the front. They also have a special Rock & Roll Forever tour sticker affixed. Each drum has the company DW Collector’s Series medallion (logo) affixed with one featuring the coded number #58487. The kit in this collection includes (2) base drums (2) standing toms and a floor tom. Each has a branded cover and each shows great use with stick hit marks etc.
Now, one of the drumheads were dated by Kottak after he left the band to commemorate this particular date, but it is not dating the set or when or where the entire drum kit was used. We have multiple photo matches of the drum kit and Kottak on stage with his Iconic SOLOS. scorpions stage-used
