Model description
■LEVI'S VINTAGE CLOTHING 1890 501
A reprint of the model from 1890, when 501XX began to be used as a rod number. Rod number 501XX has started to be used on the leather patch with the same two-horse mark. There is only one back pocket on the right side, and the arcuette stitch is an old specification that is made by a single needle sewing machine so that the center does not cross. The shape may vary slightly because it is handmade. At that time, belt loops were not used yet, and the waist could be adjusted with suspenders or cinch backs. Before using Corn Mills, the fabric has white selvage instead of the red selvage that indicates Levi's. The silhouette of the time, called waist overalls, is also distinctive.
