I bought this adorable girl from the original owner 14 years ago. She has been stored in my display case in a climate controlled room with no sunlight. She looks the same as when I first got her.

1969 Sausage Curl Twist n Turn Skipper doll is in mint condition. She is exceptionally nice. Skipper is nice and clean with No odors. She has brown hair. Hair has never been brushed or removed from original pigtails. Her hair is factory set still. It looks shiny and near perfect minus a few tiny fly aways from carefully handling her. The bows look perfect. Face is nice with all original makeup no rubs. No earring holes. No green ear or paling. All rooted eyelashes none missing very long. No neck splits and no nose nips. Head nice and tight. The body is very nice. She has a nice tight twist n turn waist. Arms and legs are nice and tight and hold position. Knees bend and click 3x s each nice hard clicks. She has all fingers and toes. Her skin tone is nice original tone. Normal factory square marks on the upper back of the legs and in the inside under the knee. These are supposed to be there. Her bottom is marked 1967 Mattel Inc Taiwan.

She comes wearing the following

1970 Fancy Pants stock no 1738 in Excellent condition. It is missing the pink purse. The light blue shoes that originally came with the outfit split badly from me leaving her dressed in this too long. So I replaced the shoes with a pair of hot pink flats marked Malaysia on the inside. These are a larger skipper flat than the Japan version so they fit better. The tnt dolls have thicker feet than the straight legs. These work great. The top has a secure snap in back with a nice black and white skipper tag inside. The material looks great. The only flaw is two small splits on the same spot on each side on the top of shoulder. These are not noticeable when being displayed. The pants look great but waistband elastic is worn out. Pants still stay up though. It does come with the little blue shorts. You can wear it with the shorts or pants for two different looks. The elastic to the shorts is still tight. They don’t seem to be used much. I never used them. Overall very nice display outfit.
