Up for sale, a 1975 Gibson ES-175D in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, complete with a hardshell case. This ES-175 boasts its original patent number T Top humbuckers, delivering a detailed and dynamic range of tones. The fully hollow maple body gives the guitar both the immediate attack and clarity of maple, but also an airy quality and smoothness befitting the hollowbody construction. Authoritative and particularly clear and bell-like on the neck pickup, this ES-175 really sings through a vintage tube amp, and acoustically the guitar has a big, open sound with warmth and a touch of growl. Lightweight at 6lbs 15oz, this ES-175 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

This gloss two-tone Tobacco Sunburst nitro lacquer is 100% original with no touch-up or overspray, exhibiting faint checking on top at the lower bout. Cosmetic wear includes limited buckle rash along the treble side of the back and some minor nicks and scratches on the body as a whole consistent with light, careful use. Natural palm wear through the gloss on the neck ensures a very smooth feel on the profile length.

A circa 1990s Gibson USA brown tolex hardshell case with pink plush interior is included. All but one of the latches function as intended, and the original leather handle is intact.
