Description
This is a fantastic New England old painted antique wooden firkin sugar bucket with lid & swinging handle. It has an old fabulous green & black paint over the original blue.
It measures approximately 11 inches height with handle down & 16 inches with handle up by 12 inches across base by 10 inches inside opening by 11 inches outside cover diameter.
The bucket is in wonderful antique condition with great honest wear & usage marks. Banding on lid is absent therefore lid sits on top of firkin. Drying crack across lid with no remnants of glue present, solid with no movement. Small make do wire repair on one wooden peg at terminal of handle.
Great primitive look & would be fabulous as part of a stack! Please see pictures for more description.
