Here is an original hood ornament accessory for the 1947 - 1954 Chevy and GMC trucks.  It still shines well but has slight pitting.  It is a good core for refinishing or use as is.  Mounting studs are good.   Please check your application as it will not fit Cab Over Engine trucks.  See photos for actual condition and ask any questions before purchase.
