The MiG-25 “Foxbat” is a supersonic interceptor and reconnaissance aircraft. The prototype flew in 1964 and entered service in 1970 with an operational speed of Mach 2.83 but if needed Mach 3.2 possibly damaging the engines. The MiG-25 caused concern for the U.S. who demanded increases in the performance of the F-15 Eagle under development. The MiG-25s large wings gave the impression of a highly weight of the stainless steel used to manufacture the MiG-25.weight of the stainless steel used to manufacture the MiG-25.
Libya is believed to have had 60 MiG-25s. In 1973 Libya declared the Gulf of Sidra as being part of their territory but this claim was never accepted by international law. When President Ronald Reagan came to power he tested the Libyan Air Force by sending a carrier force into the area. A couple of Libyan Su-22s were intercepted approaching the U.S. force and when they didn’t leave they were shot down by F-14s. Later a force of Libyan aircraft including MiG-25P approached but turned away rather than engage.

In all circumstances, product packaging is not warranted. I will pack well to prevent possible damage while at the same time trying to keep your shipping cost down. Items offered are mass-produced, Absolute model perfection is unlikely. Virtually all models will have some sort of imperfection if one looks hard enough, like slight seam gaps where fitted together, no two will be exactly alike. No returns will be accepted unless contacting us first and you must return the item to us within 14 days of your shipment's arrival. No returns will be accepted if the contents were OPENED or removed, no exceptions. To qualify for a refund item or items must be returned in their original unopened packaging as they arrived to you. You must report to us any damage within 3 business days of your shipment's arrival. You must save all original packing materials even if there is no outside visible damage to shipping box, by not doing so you will lose your right to file a claim. After contacting us you may be required to contact the delivery company to report the damage as well. Do not send any returns back to Pete’s Collectibles, without a prior R.A., or they will be refused. When returning including defective items, ALL SHIPPING COST is customer’s responsibility and the original shipping cost is non refundable. It is the customer’s responsibility to properly repack to ensure returns arrive back to Pete’s Collectibles undamaged.
