Carefully crafted from traditional materials, the covering is made from 65% genuine mohair wool and 35% cotton to ensure durability and softness. The filling consists of 100% excelsior.
This bear makes a wonderful addition to any collector's shelf. Though the original box shows some signs of wear, the bear is in excellent condition with working growler, and includes the Certificate of Authentication, still sealed in the envelope, plus other paperwork such as the signup form for the Steiff club and flier. It has the famous brass button (Knopf im Ohr) and label in place. The paper front tag is not attached nor included.
This is a very rare bear, making it a sought-after collector's item. Each piece is numbered to highlight its exclusivity and authenticity. It comes from a limited edition of 2,006.
