HARLEY – DAVIDSON ZIPPO
This Harley-Davidson lighter was commissioned by Zippo Manufacturing Company and produced by BARRETT - SMYTHE, Ltd., leading engravers and fine art designers.
JON ROBYN, Art Director of the company, internationally acclaimed engraver and gold- smith was personally responsible for this design.
JON depicts the Bald Eagle mantling (shielding and protecting) the
Harley-Davidson shield in typical bird of prey fashion. The flowing banners,
piercing eyes and clutching talons deliver a message of strength, pride and
endurance, attributes of Harley -Davidson and Zippo Manufacturing.
This one is the hardest for me to sell, but for personal reasons, i have to try. Breaks my heart though.
