WESTERN AMERICAN HAND ENGRAVED STERLING SILVER BELT BUCKLE

FEATURING A RAISED GOLD GLOBE WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA OUTLINE

AND PERSONALIZED WITH “STRAW BOSS” 

We would estimate that this belt buckle dates back to the 1960’s era. Although it is stamped as “STERLING”, the center globe image certainly is either gold filled or heavy gold plated. It has virtually no tarnish, and that would not be the case of the globe was either brass or bronze. The latch style clasp is hallmarked “RODEO” and the buckle base is hallmarked “ROWELL SADDLE CO., HAYWARD, CALIF.”. There is additional personalized engraving of names and the bold upper banner title “STRAW BOSS”. We’ve never come across another old western buckle like this one and it will be an awesome addition to any premium buckle collection. It is moderate in size…….measuring about 2 7/8” x 2”, fitting belts up to 1 1/4” wide and weighs about 58 grams or 2 ounces on our scale. It will be shipped USPS first class package carefully wrapped with insurance and signature confirmation of delivery.
