I purchased this car in 2005 with intentions of completing its restoration when I retired. My first car was a 1940 Chevy I purchased from my uncle for 250.00 when I was 15 years old, so I really love these little Chevys. 20 years later my health doesn't allow me to work on cars like I use too. So, this really nice car is for sale. This Chevy has the nicest body I have ever seen. I cannot find anywhere there have been any patch panels or repairs made to the original sheet metal. Even the exposed wood framing in the doors appears to be original and solid as the day it was factory installed. I never tried to start the car as I had about a dozen other running cars in my collection at that time, but the previous owner told me it did run. I believe with a little effort you could have this car running in no time. The paint is not perfect but for a driver it is really good. There are a few spots where the paint is scuffed or scratched but form 20 feet away you just would not notice it. I have a clear title.
