Vintage 1960s-70s designer Frankie Welch Embroidered Mexican Wedding Style Sleeveless Maxi Dress has empire waist, crossover front with deep blue embroidered flowers, bright green grosgrain ribbon at empire waistband under bust, back nylon zipper closure and A-line skirt. Fabric is 100% cotton with vertical pintucks on bodice and top 2/3 of skirt, horizontal pintucks, lace inserts and green ribbon trim on lower 1/3. Lower skirt is lightly stiffened to stand out in a bell shape. Beautiful dress hardly worn! Perfect for party, resort or a summer wedding. Shown on our size 8 dress form and fits snugly in bust; length was fairly long so best fits a taller person, or could be hemmed.
