VCR cycles is delighted to bring to the market this 1990’s Italian Made Carrera road bike in the famous Team ASICS colours.

Not to be confused with the mass produced Halfords rubbish of the same name!

If your not familiar with the Italian Carrera brand then please do a Google search to see the pedigree and the many great riders who rode these classic Italian bikes and had lots of success in the late 80’s into the 90’s.

A rare machine and hard to find in the UK.

It’s had an easy life and remained in excellent condition considering it’s age.

Nicely kitted out with a Campagnolo groupset of Veloce and Mirage components.

It’s 16 speed with Mirage ergo shifters, Veloce front mech and Mirage on the rear.

The chainset is Veloce with 170mm arms and 52-42t.

The rear cassette is 13-23t.

Brakes are Veloce.

Wheels are very nice Mirage hubs laced with stainless steel spokes in FIR 97 rims and these are shod with New Old stock Vittoria Competiton Zefir 19 Orange tyres to compliment the ASICS team colour paint.

Saddle is Selle Italia XO gel.

Stem is 110mm reach 3ttt

Handlebars are ITM Super Europa 2 with a width of 42cm (c-c). These have been freshly wrapped with New old stock 90’s Silver bar tape. (Went for silver as white gets too dirty too quick!).

All inner and outer cables are brand new Jagwire in a paint matching blue.

Brand new KMC chain.

The bike has been fully serviced, all bearing are smooth with no play.

Wheels are true and straight.

Tyres are new.

The bike rides beautifully smooth and everything works as it should.

A rare machine with excellent pedigree the only thing it needs is a new home!

Centre of seat tube to centre of head tube: 56cm
