Super nice button from the Canadian Militia, established by the Provence of Canada under the Militia Act of 1855. There is some silver in this button, which has a brass back. It was made by P. Tait & Company of Limerick (Ireland). Depicting both the Canadian Beaver and the British Crown, this is a fine collector button over 100 years old.
