2002 t4 1.9tdi

Full width bed, fridge, solar, toilet, swing table , swivel double seat, diesel heater

Just been fully serviced and MOT (no advisories) Feb 24

Purchased December 2019. Since purchase the van has had everything done it needed and much, much more. Its always had the best parts, fittings and treatment it could have. The van is reliable and designed to be as comfy and practical as possible when camping. I've listed the main things I can think of below any questions please let me know

No expense spared on keeping the van in great condition, fully serviced each year since purchase and any jobs needing doing have been done as soon as I have been aware of these (lots of paperwork for the below plus additional)

May 2020 had full respray (was white) and 2 wings 2 rear and front arches replaced, paint is matte in colour (gloss black and does have slight wear in places now (front bumper had some chipping and on top of rear lights)

July 2019 Engine was replaced with the tdi conversion in Germany approx 180k miles prior to my purchase. The piston seized in October 2020 this lead to the engine being removed and overhalled engine at around 183,500 miles so good as new and not many miles since this work (currently at 187,660), works included:

Engine removed strip down
New piston
Full gasket set
Oil seal kit
Head bolt set
Overall cylinder head
Sumo pump
Breather
Thermostats
New radiator timing belt kit

Dec 20: handbrake cable
Oct 21: turbo rebuild and upgrade
April 22: Gear Linkage
August 22: Front and back disks and pads, ball joint, new alternator rear caliper

The following work has been done to improve power and it was a great improvement, you will have no issue going up hills steep hills or keeping up with anyone, van easily drives in the fast lane no problem, the van was tuned however some works completed after and whilst certainly not needed will likely make even more gains with another tune up (ecu socketed already)

Hybrid abl turbo (turbo sent away for full refund and rebuild Oct 21)
Afn injectors
Front mount intercooler
Pd inlet manifold
Custom exhaust twin pipe dummy decat (Dec 21)
5th gear mod
Short shift mod
Hd sacks shocks and lifted
Geolander AT tyres

Interior - old removed and new installed last year there was already a conversion in the van however wanted a full width bed (fully stripped old interior including old flooring and insulation) still as new.

U shaped conversion, beech ply high quality professionally made
Solid oak worktop
Solid oak top swivel table
Just kampers compressor fridge
Kiravans double swivel seat
Remote control dimmable lighting
Several usb sockets around the van
Toilet (custom-built into the interior and slides out)
Altro flooring
Diesel heater
All seats professionally covered front and back
Back sleeping area has tripple layer memory foam

Power

2x 150w narrow semi flexible solar (from photonic universe installed same time as conversion) -these are great quality solar pannels

The van interior is powered by a portable lithium bank, with the solar in place this easily runs off grid for days during summer months however there is electric hook up and pass through charging should you need it (I haven't!)

Wired Campers, the portable one;

Lithium Ion 2131 KWH
2x 240v UK shuttered safety Sockets
2x quick charge usb c 100w pd ports
2x quick charge usb a 18w porta
10a 12v dc port (powering lights, fridge, heater)
2x dc 12v 3a ports
AC Input charging
Solar charging
AC pure sinewave
2200w continuous output l, surge output 4400w
Charge cycles 1500 (used only a handful of times)

Pop top, and roof boards ( makes for good addional storage when camping)

Tow bar (I haven't used this)

I have fitted sound deadening to the cab (I have spare to do door cards and cab roof should you wish to do this)

Upfront is fairly standard, additional speakers installed and originals upgraded, double swivel, seats retrimmed to match rear

Loads of camping equipment, including large drive away awning with 2 interior sleeping areas, canopy awning, large light weight windbreak, custom sheet for the u-bed, chairs, mugs, cups, cutlery, outdoor rug, portable stove, camping bowls, water carrier/trolly, loads more but basically everything you could possibly need to get going and more!
