PFALTZGRAFF YORKTOWNE STONEWARE MIGHTY LARGE MIXING BOWL
Rare Piece! (11" diameter x 5.5") Old Castle Mark ~ Made in the U.S.A.

This Mighty Extra Large Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne Stoneware Mixing Bowl is a rare stunner. I believe this is one of the earliest pieces of Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne that was first introduced in 1967. (I have only seen one other bowl exactly like this.) This limited edition piece features a blue and gray color combination and a salt glaze finish. It measures 11 inches in diameter and 5.5 inches tall and weighs nearly 4 pounds.

NOTES: Pfaltzgraff Stoneware was inspired from early American salt glazed pottery. The Pfaltzgraff Company was further inspired by their own original crocks and jugs from the classic Yorktowne Stoneware Collection which was introduced in 1967 to honor the town of York, Pennsylvania. With its distinctive smooth light gray glaze and deep blue hand-applied art, this remains a classic and one of the most desirable patterns.
