Manufacture
of plated silverware established in 1893 as Poole & Roche. Later,
Poole bought the full control and managed the company until his
death.
Poole was succeed by his three sons until 1946 when they
retired and sold the company to a group headed by Sidney A. Kane.
In
1946 was opened a sterling silver department, in 1950 the Bristol
Silver division for popular plated holloware and in 1964 the brass
division.
The company was bought by Towle Mfg. Co. in 1971
Early manufacture, piece in excellent conditions showing no structural damage no dents no monogram breaks or repairs all solid castings with the original early manufacture quality detail, substantial plating no wear specks, a tiny flea bite to the inner edge as pictured, light scratching mostly from storage , overall bright glossy finish with rich a luscious soft patina Approx. 13 1/2"side to side, " by 9 1/2" wide, 3 7/8" tall 3.11 lbs. weight.
