August 1933 issue of South African Lady's Pictorial Magazine, The Magazine For The Modern Woman, measuring 12 3/4" x 9" and containing a front and back cover and 68 high quality interior pages.  Wonderful art deco front color cover by C. D.  This magazine is about English speaking white men and woman living the very good life in South Africa.  Vividly tells the store of the British rule in South Africa.  There is no table of contents so you need to look at the title of my photos to get an idea of what is in this issue.  There are items like: Royal Opening of South Africa House; Woman Golfer;the Afrikaans stage; fashion clothing; European Woman in the Orient; Social Pretoria; Gov-General's Daughter Marries in London; Durban Racing; Recent Weddings (outstanding pictures); Johannesburg; Movies of the Moment and many other articles and interesting ads. Outstanding condition-the only possible fault I can see is that it may have been once folded down the middle-hard to see and tell.  Even the spine is in good condition.  From a pet free and smoke free home-the magazine has no odor.  Only one like it on ebay, in fact only magazine with that name for any month or year on ebay.
