VCR cycles is delighted to bring to the market this super rare and super light Cinelli Spirit Steel & Carbon frame road bike.

The Spirit was built with Columbus Spirit Niobium Steel alloy “no flex” maintubes with a Carbon seat tube and Carve Carbon rear triangle and front forks.

The Cinelli Spirit was a short lived model and didn’t go on general sale here in the UK.

Cinelli produced it for one season only before selling the frame build design and build rights to the Canadian bicycle company Rocky Mountain.

I believe George Longstaff purchased 10 Spirit framesets, he painted them a sky blue colour, built them with high components and retailed them as his own on a very limited edition run of 10 but I can’t recall the details as I write this listing. I’ll update once researched.

This frame was imported from Italy by the original owner at a cost of £1800 plus shipping costs and built up with the best kit money could buy by Fred James cycles.

This bike set the original owner back around 5k back in 2004!

As you can see from its condition and lack of wear to the components it’s had an easy life and was only used for “best”!

The bike has been cleaned and serviced.

Everything works perfectly with no issues.

No parts are worn or in need of replacement and the bike rides like a dream.!

A super rare bike that is definitely one for the collector and one thats value will only go up.

A beautiful handmade Italian masterpiece that you’ll almost guaranteed to not see another.

Centre of BB to top of seat tube is 58cm.

Centre of seat tube to centre of headtube is 57cm.

Stand over height from floor to top of top tube at the centre is 83cm.

Test ride/inspection welcome prior to commitment to buy if your local enough to travel to the L25 postcode area of Liverpool.
