The motherboard is fixed by several plastic clamps inside the exterior plastic of the dock, which is easy to remove and replace. To get inside the dock you will need a three-wing safety screwdriver to remove the dock housing screws and a pair or tweezers to split the fork is also recommended to help release the strip cable and connector on the right side.
The motherboard may need to be replaced to fix a damaged USB port or a faulty motherboard.
