Here for sale is a super neat 19th century oversized wooden spoon. This example has lots of character and charm!! It is made from maple wood with a long handle and long oblong shaped bowl. The handle ends with a bowl stop carved out of the back to rest it along the edge of a bowl. The tip of the handle ends with a unique carved out bird ( or rooster ) head. The spoon is oversized and long, and measures 19 1/2 inches long by 3 1/8 inches across the bowl. It is in excellent condition, and is super unique and unusual! Would be great for any country kitchen collection.
