IPL safety glasses for health and cosmetics and laser safety glasses for laser modules.

IPL protective eyewear is designed for broadband protection at full wavelength. It is applied to health and cosmetics.

Laser safety glasses are designed for laser module or laser pointer. It is used for professional laser module.

They are quite different.

FURTHER INFORMATION about laser safety glasses:

1.This is IPL laser safety glasses, it can work for almost full wavelength by the reasonable laser that human eyes. As you know, IPL uses lower power laser for full wavelength. Some IPL machines can cover blue, yellow, green and red laser. but the power of them is not more than 10 MW. so this goggles is suitable. But this machine brings a problem. ALL is sometimes not as good as unique. Actually, we recommend buying laser safety glasses according to their wavelength. For example, if your laser is 808nm, we recommend 808nm safety glasses. This type of goggle works best at that wavelength. But if you buy a full-wave goggles, it may not be as good as a special goggles.

2.For the T: Some people don't know what the T means, T here means transparency. for special wavelength glasses, T = 30% means 30% of the laser can pass through. for full wavelength glasses, T here means average level. As you can see in the picture, if you use a 405nm laser for the goggles, about 30% can be transmitted. If you use a red / green laser, about 50% will be transmitted. If we use 1064nm goggles, it is about 20%. so we get an average value for T = 30%.

A customer of ours said a laser safety glasses should be T = 0.01. If T is 0.01 here, how can you see the laser beam path? This type of safety glasses blocks all the laser light. You can't see anything when you wear it.

3. For the CE certificate, a customer of ours said he needed CE certified goggles for IPL. I recommended these, but he doubted the CE mark and said anyone can put the CE logo on it. For this experience, I don't know how to answer his message. If you have any doubt about CE certificate, please don't buy it. We have safety glasses without CE mark, the price is much cheaper. so it is meaningless for us to mark something if we don't have it.

4. For OD: OD means obvious density. Normally, the higher the outer diameter of the safety glasses, the better the protection effect. so that we usually get OD4 +, for red laser safety glasses, we have OD6 +.
