My great Aunt Lucy was an expert seamstress and made this beautiful dress for her daughter ( my Aunt Katherine ) , who passed away last year at 99 years old. We date this dress from the 1940's. This fantastic cotton seersucker blue and white striped dress is so unique with front tie and shell with plastic buttons. The top button has a different color piece going across it, please see picture We notice a round mark and some discoloration on one of the ties. A small mark near one of the buttons, and discoloration near the collar area. You may find some more marks, small areas where seams may be open , etc....that we missed. Under the buttons, the dress has a hook and eye closure and a snap, which is under the tie area.  We did not try to remove any marks. . It will probably fit a size small, but please check measurements. Katherine had a small waist !  Please remember that this is an original hand made dress that was made and worn in the 1940's, so it will have small flaws, but it wearable and stunning !
