Omega Centenary Wristwatch 1948.
Automatic chronometer, calibre 30.10 RA PC JUB, gold dial with
zones, recessed small seconds on a circular guilloche, inner minute track, polished
riveted and facetted gold Arabic numerals and diamond-shaped hour marker ,
polished and bevelled gold Dauphine bands, 18-carat (yellow or red) gold case
with lyre shaped lugs, polished and bevelled bezel, protruding case middle, hermetic
crown bearing for the first time the Omega symbol in relief. (ref. OT 2500)
Created to celebrate the company's centenary (1848-1948),
this watch was the precursor of the Constellation model developed in 1952.
