Fun Kit



Whataburger  & Coca-Cola 

Up for auction is "The Wizard of Oz 50th Anniversary Fun Kit".  The Fun Kit is complete, and includes:  the Activity / Instruction Booklet, which has instructions for creating all of the pieces included in the Kit, as well as a Play Script, a Word Mix-Up Puzzle Game, and instructions for making a Wizard of Oz Mobile;  a large cardboard sheet with Pop-Out Puppets for a puppet play, a Pop-Out Entrance to the Witch's Castle (for the puppet play), a Pop-Out Crystal Ball Door Sign, and Pop-Out Playing Cards (for a card game);  a Forest and Witch's Castle Backdrop for the puppet play, (and on the reverse side is a Munchkinland Hidden Picture Game);  and a Paint Palette (to color props for the puppet show).  Included with the Fun Kit is its original mailing envelope.  These Fun Kits were made by American Premium Corporation, in 1989, for Whataburger Restaurants and Coca-Cola.  They were distributed by Whataburger in conjunction with their Wizard of Oz drinking glass promotion of that same year, although only in the mid-west.  

The Fun Kit item is complete, has never been used, and in great vintage condition, with no rips, tears, writing nor any other damage that I can detect to any of the pieces.  However, the mailing envelope does have some damage to its back side (primarily to the flap, but also including a 3 inch tear at the top of the envelope), from having been torn when the sealed envelope was opened.
