This sale is for Edward Gibbon 7 volume set of "The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire". The books we printed in 1974 and are in very good vintage condition.

Edward Gibbon (/ˈɡɪbən/; 8 May 1737 – 16 January 1794) was an English historian and Member of Parliament. His most important work, The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, was published in six volumes between 1776 and 1788. The Decline and Fall is known for the quality and irony of its prose, its use of primary sources, and its open criticism of organized religion.

SHIPPING

PLEASE NOTE: Books, tapes, DVD's all ship by Media Mail. It's not the quickest but it will save you lots of money. If you need something quicker just let me know and I will let you know the new shipping charges and re-invoice you for the difference.

PACKAGING: I use used boxes and fluff. I do this because I care about the planet and all who live here and my future generations. Just thought you should know.

SHIPPING COSTS: I charge actual shipping to your location.

SHIPPING TIME: I usually ship the same or next day after your purchase depending on whether my mail has already been picked up. If you purchase on a Friday after mail time I may not be able to ship until the following Monday.

TIMELINE: When I ship you will receive a letter from PayPal with your tracking information. There is a link on eBay so you can check the progress of your package.
