This vintage 1930s maxi dress exudes Old Hollywood glamour with its unique waist design and luxurious ermine fur trim. The black sheer crepe material drapes beautifully, while the fur adds a touch of elegance.

With a chest size of 36 inches and a waist size of 28 inches, this dress is a women's size small and is perfect for a special evening occasion. The hip size is 46 inches, and the shoulder to hem measurement is 63 inches. The dress also features a style reminiscent of Art Deco fashion and has an original, authentic look.

This beauty boasts, a deep, plunging V neckline, trimmed in white ermine fur. long, sheer sleeves tapering at the wrist with two snaps, and also trimmed with white ermine fur. Very unique front bodice;beginning at the bottom of the V-neck line there is a lot of gathers as well at the waist. Several tiny snaps at this front bodice, as well as interior canvas fabric at the waist line, which comes across and hooks on the inside. There is another piece of fabric as you can see in the photos that is gathered, but some of the stitching has let go, and the end of this fabric has a hook, so it must have went inside and hooked to something but I can’t find where it hooked. May have just been a piece of thread. This gives a lot of extra draping fabric down the front of this dress. Very unusual design. No real stretch to the fabric. There is some give on the diagonal. It is a lovely sheer black crêpe. There is one tiny split in the seam under the right arm pit. And a wee tear on the very bottom hem at the back as you can also see in the photo. the fabric is surprisingly in quite good condition with no holes or snags other than what I have described.
