These rare 16mm inner opening watch band buckles originally came on the Swiss Tropic 2000 dive straps but would suit many different applications. This is a 1960s New Old Stock original 16mm inner opening black nylon buckle. Signed with 2000 and 16 on back. Has the distinct profile with a slightly faceted front and sharp notch to hold the tang. Perfect buckle to match a black PVD case, black dial or just for that military stealth black look.
Great opportunity to install this correct original Swiss Tropic buckle on your Tropic band that has the incorrect buckle or use this buckle to upgrade a generic band to look like an expensive Genuine Swiss Tropic strap on your watch. The top to bottom clearance of this buckle is 8.2mm so it will work with any Tropic band or unpadded or lightly padded leather bands.
