Up for sale is a rare pair of 18th century brass and cast iron Georgian fireplace andirons.

They're made of thick brass with a lovely silhouette and have acquired a lovely patina from age.

The andirons feature footed spherical legs and have wrought iron rests that are peened to the andirons underneath.

The pair is in nice antique condition, well made, and each measures 15 3/4 inches tall by 9 1/2 inches wide by 23 1/2 inches back to front.
