PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR FURTHER IMAGES

Meccano Magazine was a classic magazine for boys that ran for decades and covered not only Meccano model making but also had a wide variety of other non-fiction articles. Aside from Meccano-related articles, it also featured Hornby trains, Dinky Toys and other products made by Meccano, plus a wide variety of general interest articles, including engineering, aircraft, trains, modelling, camping, photography and philately. Additionally, the adverts are wonderful!

In this issue:
  • Cover Picture - Yachtsmen
  • Mapping Britain - How the Ordnance Survey Works
  • The Tay Ferries
  • Noah Takes Wings - BOAC - Carrying animals
  • Hare’s Speed
  • The Shipshaw Power Stations - A Great Canadian Hydro-Electric Development
  • Old Ship Models

The magazine measures 20.5 x 14 cm and has pages 209 - 248, plus additional advertising pages

Condition: Good vintage condition - there is evidence of reading wear with some creasing to the covers and internal pages, some wear to the covers, vintage tape repair to spine of the covers, name stamped and written on the back cover - visible in the pictures below. The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive. Given that the magazine has celebrated its 75th birthday, its condition is good, but certainly not perfect!

I accept returns, and if you'd like to see further pictures, or any questions - just ask!
