This is a vintage, hard to find terra cotta salmon platter decorated with Majolica-style cobalt blue glaze. Despite the age, this item has never been used as evidenced by remainder of the original price sticker still adhered to the unglazed bottom. It was handcrafted sometime between 1990-2000 in Denmark by the popular and talented Danish potter, Thora Finnsdottir. Her signature is inscribed on the underside. Please note that all of her items in this style have been discontinued and it is rare to come across one in this pristine condition.
