PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR FURTHER IMAGES

Meccano Magazine was a classic magazine for boys that ran for decades and covered not only Meccano model making but also had a wide variety of other non-fiction articles. Aside from Meccano-related articles, it also featured Hornby trains, Dinky Toys and other products made by Meccano, plus a wide variety of general interest articles, including engineering, aircraft, trains, modelling, camping, photography and philately. Additionally, the adverts are wonderful!

In this issue:
  • Cover Picture - Power Dive - Gloster Meteor
  • Marvels of Modern Conveyors
  • Festival of Britain Ships Section - Some fine Bassett-Lowke Models
  • The Lynton-Lymouth Cliff Railway
  • The Cunning of the Fox
  • Veteran Aircraft - Relics Early Powered Flight
  • The Tramp and Her Work - Tramp Ship
  • A Great Eastern Transformation - Liverpool Street Today
  • Pottery - Wedgewood
  • The Story of the Life-Boat

The magazine measures 20.5 x 14 cm and has pages 337 - 384, plus additional advertising pages

Condition: Good vintage condition - there is evidence of light reading wear with some creasing to the covers and internal pages, date stamped on the back cover - visible in the pictures below. The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive. Given that the magazine is celebrating its 70th birthday, its condition is very good, but certainly not perfect!

I accept returns, and if you'd like to see further pictures, or any questions - just ask!
