1875-1900 RARE Antique Hardware Drawer Pull Drop Ring Octagon Brass Pearl Inlay

A WORLD CLASS HARDWARE FIND!!

I found these & was in no way passing them up! They were in very poor condition! The mother of pearl was covered in rust & grime & looked terrible, the round steel back plate that holds the pearl in place was very rusty!

I took everything apart & meticulously cleaned & polished the rusty backplate. Cleaned & polished the pearl. Then reinstalled the pearl & backplate using a clear epoxy.

The pearl is nice & thick, about the thickness of a nickel (coin) so it’s very strong!

This is a very rare & spectacular piece of hardware

Mounting tips: I will include a mounting screw that fits a 3/4 inch thick project. If you have a different thickness project just email me the thickness at checkout & I will include the correct length screw for your project.

I am also including a solid brass rack which you mail in the tiny hole at the bottom of the backplate. It makes it super secure in addition to the screw. It is not required to use it, however I do use the brass tack in all my antique restoration work when there is a hole for the tack!

All the best, Bryan
