Very good overall, used condition. Shows expected signs of age and use with some minor patina and scratches noted. Functions as intended with all screws, pivots, and adjusters free and smooth. Original grey and red paint can still be clearly seen as mostly intact. Corrugated sides.  Lever Cap has a nice chrome finish with "CRAFTSMAN" cast into it; some original red paint visible. Cast marking is very clear and legible on plane body: "MADE IN U.S.A."  Stamped on iron: "CRAFTSMAN MADE IN U.S.A. B 619.3743." The "N" in CRAFTSMAN and some letter(s) after "B" have worn off or been sanded off.
